So what's all this fuss about the Europy final? I didn't see the game, but I've seen there was a load of **** from fans and players alike. Mourinho had a moan at Taylor (not like him at all) and some fans gave Taylor grief at the airport. Did he have a bad game, or is it just fans pissed off because they lost? I see he lost control and dished out a load of gift cards, but there's nothing new there surely?
Mourinho didn't just have a moan, He confronted him and had a sweary rant at him in the car park as they were all leaving. Then at the airport Roma fans got aggressive with Taylor and his family, scuffles apparently and Taylor et al had to be escorted through the airport by security. The Roma fans had been stirred up by Mourinho As for the game, dunno, didn't watch it myself either, reports are that Taylor was abit ****. But whats new? Same as alot of other finals apparently, let stuff go as not to send people off later on and then lost control meaning he had to dish out the cards as the game descended into a niggley affair.

Watch a clip on some of the ‘controversial’ incidents and by all accounts Taylor for them right. Booked a roma player for diving in the box correct. Gave a pen which var then correctly overturned. Apparently was load of **** from players in going down, pulling players back etc and lots got yellows.
European teams expect a higher standard of reffing in European competition and especially finals he was out there to mind himself and they smelled it quickly and got completely out of control. having a coward **** like Oliver as 4th official probably made it worse and encourages woeful antics on both benches. when it's pens and you see their best penalty taker miss just as you look out then then see the ref order it to be retaken for no real reason.... well you will be angry as fans. I'm surprised refs don't have secure hotel to stay overnight away from fans and not go to sale airport and have no security etc. it seems odd uefa don't expect **** English officials to **** up.

That's no excuse though. Yeah, sometimes ref's performances leave a lot to be desired, but giving them dog's abuse and making them or their family fear for their safety isn't acceptable.
yeah but explain that to an angry roma fan who saw him overrule a save and then saylw the baldy **** in the airport. you can't. they are not rational. if just find it funny that a guy who went out of his way to indulge everyone to get through the game without being blamed then ends up massively exposed on the final kick. he'd have been better laying down the rules of the game early and if forced send a couple off rather than indulge flopping and cheating.
