Do people recall some people saying last season that Liverpool were a one man team whose performance was dependent on Salah? . Well Chelsea’s dependence on Hazard is 10 times that and if ever there was a one man team then it is Chelsea by a long distance. Without him or without his current form I doubt Chelsea would be even in the top 6. He has contributed at least half of all their points.
They all come out with tosh like that. Tbf to Hazard he is still putting the performances in which is a credit to him. But so did Suarez and Ford till it looked like we were going to squash the move then we saw the real players attitude come out. Tbh i hope he is telling the truth, Ford alledgedly told players how great our club is/was and they should join as he was leaving it. Its all guff just enjoy the lad while you still have him as he is quality.
Yup just enjoying him this season when previously I have always been quite critical of him. As long as he plays well and doesn't have back injuries then I will be fine with that. I guess we will know his true intentions when he either signs his contract or he doesn't unless he does sign and then goes on strike.

He's intimating talks will resume soon hopefully but also maybe that's a come and tap me up hint but it's the first time since he's been here that he is playing under a manager who wants to control the ball and press from the front. He has 2 years left on his contract. We offered 340k supposedly before the world cup but he didn't sign it. Hopefully playing under sarri will convince him as he seems the type who just wants to have fun on the pitch rather than is all about being the best ever
that's the problem now days, signing a normally huge contract is only a short term fix. real test will be when real or barca come calling. any ideas what likely transfer fee will be asked for him, he has the quality but attitude is a factor.
The reason i'd sell is simple see table.. nobody has started that well in spain but it will probably sort itself out into big 3 again but real might be third best again. They have been covered by the CL wins which frankly has been a historic run but at some point its going to end.... most likely this year. If real are out to make a statement Hazard must be top of thier list (right now) Not a salah (after his start) YOu can demand a massive fee in summer but cannot let it run any longer. Also I don't agree with one man team stuff. Look at cheslea 3 midfielders... absolute class against us. Jorginho, kovacic, kante.... they will need 2 or 3 forwards out of the hazard money sure but..... If he won't sign a contract and has form for sulking (2 years and two managers toast) then I would sell no matter if he is world player of year.

Solid midfield but none of them really score goals . In fact apart from Pedro no one else is scoring goals except for hazard! He's the spark as we don't have many goalscorers at the moment. Not sure he was sulking last year, he was just over marked and contes tactics were abysmal. Deffo was sulking with Jose Eriksens got some stomach issue. He hasn't played for the spuds for a couple of weeks so hardly surprising he ain't turning up
