Very controversial goal for lfc disallowed as well. Apparently for a foul on keeper but player hardly even touched her and no one had a clue what was going on.
That's a good example but most people who don't buy a parking ticket aren't doing it because they can't afford the ticket so a fine is fair enough. I got the impression saint was alluding to poor people not being able to afford something being charged more for non-payment.
TV licence non payment years ago often ended up in people being banged up for non payment of the fines .
Yeh I know prison sentence used to be a punishment for that. I must just be an honest person who's never defaulted or not paid on time because I don't recognise any of the above examples
Or you've always had the money available to pay, you need to check your privilege, as the youth like to say.
I've never missed a payment on anything. Been very tight at times and I've gone without but never missed a payment.
fines are better than jail. that's what they are put there for, to avoid putting folk in lock up for stuff that will only make it worse. jailing someone and losing their job over whatever is no help to anyone
some would willingly do some of the time as for each day inside an amount was taken from the outstanding debt and once it reached the level they would willingly / could pay it would be deposited at the court and freedom was granted . No idea if this still the rules but demz was the rules in the "good old days"
From July 1st, IFAB rule changes have prevented goalkeepers from taunting during penalties. - GKs cannot touch goalposts & nets - Delay execution of penalty - Unfairly distract the taker - Behaviours that fail to show respect
Good point, but I don't mind the keeper bouncing around on his line or something like that - it's the standing in front of the taker with intimidation and delaying tactics I dislike. I'm not sure about the not touching goalposts one, keepers frequently back-kick the posts to clear their studs - will that be banned as well?
