wolves have had a sighter at us. we are going to struggle today. we need to take the one chance coming and hope they continue to miss the easy chances.
Absolutely. We've been here before not too long ago. Still got half a season to go, if we go on a run like we did that season then it's certainly possible. Just hard to see with how we've been playing recently.
I remember back in the summer, the pullava they went through back and forth with Barca to get Aubamayang. Within 2 months he was persona non grate. No matter how many owners they change, they are a fcking awful club.
Hjolberg goes down with a ‘head injury’ after the ball hits Kane on the shoulder… ref stops play with city on the ball. 30 seconds of physio checks and he’s fine and back on the pitch. Surely has to be time for a mandatory 10min off the pitch for proper checks. Get another player on fine. But you’ll find that players only go down holding their head if it’s an actual head injury that way as no one will want to go off for 10 min if nothing wrong with them
it should be a hard rule at this point. there should be independent doctor at game and a HIA. Once one law suit succeeds then it'll come in quick but diving and faking it should be absolutely hammered. I think all injuries should be assessed by ref and no physio should be allowed on park unless a player is unconscious or unable to walk. we all know full well when there's a genuine injury. but when said player goes down 3 or 4 times to allow their replacement warm up then imo that player should be put off by the ref. same for all flops. require treatment and it must be a minimum of 5mins off pitch.
Agree but they'll find a way around it. The manager will get a message to them to say they're being subbed off, go down with a head injury.
Simple solution. no sub for 10mins. Rugby has almost been ruined (almost) by Southern hemisphere nations especially nz and sa head shooting rivals to get their best players off the park. It's now mandatory red card for ahead shot and half the time even standing up in a head on collision may be a red. Political will is required. Aka retrospective suspensions and time outs being made mandatory. We see every single game refs ignoring players kicking all away at a free, throw etc. Well drilled sides do it automatically from minute 1 just to buy 5 seconds more to get set.
Worse one today was ball went out for a GK. Spurs make a sub, so about a minute passes from ball going out to ref then restarting play. Blows his whistle. Lloris walks back to the ball on 6 yard box and picks it up to replace it… Wasted about 10-15 seconds there
There's a counter argument of 'what if it actually is a head injury', why should a team be punished for a genuine injury?
Rugby just takes it cos they can't afford the law suits. extra sub for head injury Chelsea have 43 players. all the clubs have more than enough to cover it. the opposite side is an end to excuses like you have to leap with your arms up etc. it'll end up with reds for head contact ab players will have to learn to jump without high arms. Once the first law suit goes in that'll be that.
breaking news. City are finally getting English investigation into ffp breaches going back into the dim and distant past
City merely used the uefa case to determine the next means to chest and about 60% of their revenue sponsorship is fake. either state ploughing in money for no return or completely fake companies. one way or the other they'll cheat round this too. Chelsea right now are cheating.. we are all seeing it. Newcastle Will plough in 300 or 400mil of fake sponsors the second this season is over as they will be in cl due to our incompetence
Why does this have to happen THIS season? And, as we thought it probably would, United throwing their cap into the ring immediately after us has meant, according to reports, that what big beasts are out there are looking to buy them, not us. Another thirty or more wilderness years are beginning, I fear.
Yeah, just 2014. United would get 2012 and 2018? Won't happen though - City have bought the CAS off once before, and they'll do it again in a few years' time as this slowly meanders through the courts to its inevitable dropping on some arcane technicality.
