    Defenders shepherding the ball out for a goal kick, blocking opponents without being anywhere near it does my head in. Is obstruction not a thing anymore?

    there has been more contact allowed this season and the defender flopping to the ground no longer automatically gets a foul for example . I never claimed it was consistently applied as it is still a subjective decision so there will clearly be quite a lot given unless you are Forest <laugh>.

    Toney has been banned from all football for 6 months for betting! That is him out of the world cup squad, the lucky sod! Yet to be officially announced by the FA, but as the place leaks like a sieve I suspect it is true.
