Mourinho is going for the treble; Throwing his players under the parked bus. Whinging about the board spending. Telling fans that Utd wont finish above City or Liverpool. Pissing off his players, his employers and the fans is a sure fire way to suceed; Sacked-off with a massive contract payout is his achievement goal.
It is interesting how he has gone full circle yet again. Same excuses, same moaning, same scapegoats. If he isn't sacked or quits by the end of the season I would be amazed.
As someone who doesn't know much about how the financials work - If he resigns does he forfeit a pay off?
technically i dont think he does, but club could pay him off on the qt and label it as a bullshit bonus of some sort just to get rid without having to pay off contract length.
I wasn't sure as to if he walked away of his own accord, do the club still have to give him some form of payment. Would a resignation break any contractual arrangements. Come to think of it, why am I bothered
I hope he stays - he's the main thing holding them back. Utd have some very good players and a decent manager might just make them a major force again.
yes. mutual.consent = pay off sacked = pay up unless you are Chelsea. Seriously cheslea are making a big error with conte. If they don't pay up they will struggle to get the best managers again. they've form for silly sacking so if they also don't pay up why would you?
de gea bailly maybe Pogba proved what he can do if bothered fred isn't bad Sanchez lucky ain't all that rashford is good martial just needs.the right manager. matic is decent if not getting any younger they've also issues rb... diogo might work put lb... he's ruined Shaw but utd are hanging on to see if next man can use him. lcb... Jones.. etc etc felliani on another deal. Herrera.. rw he won't play mata half the time. lingard isn't up to it. it apparently obvious Utd will be there or there about but 70 to 80 points and there you go lowering your standards by making out second is an achievement. you are like spurs now.
Nope second is nothing mate but as close to first as you can get without being there. I just love the sentiment of "being a force", does this mean only City are a force now?
you nailed it. being happy with 2nd is loser talk. city are the men and it's about time someone knocked them off their ****ing perch. see.... If you think you are great having done nothing you never will DO anything. that's how I see all our finals. ****ing failures. enjoy the ride but don't for.one minute be happy just getting there and making up numbers.
So it’s first or nothing then for Liverpool? With 15-20 odd points being lost seasons distance to City, someone better make a challenge for them, don’t want it sewn up early again.
Yup. First or nuthn. Pat on heads for the players and all well paid but at some point remember what the club was ffs.
Well I am snuggling down for 20 plus games of mystery/mysery at Goodison.....why did I ****ing renew.
Klopp: I love having Scousers in my squad Having a Scouse contingent within his Liverpool squad is significant to Jürgen Klopp. Last term represented a breakthrough campaign in the career of Trent Alexander-Arnold, an Academy graduate from the West Derby area of the city whose impressive displays at Premier League and Champions League level earned him a spot in England’s World Cup squad. Another Liverpool-born youngster has caught the eye during the ongoing pre-season, too, with 17-year-old Curtis Jones having performed well during all seven of the Reds’ friendlies to date. And Klopp has explained that he prizes the opportunity to be able to call on players who hail from the local area. “I love it, I love it! It’s important for this club,” the boss told Goal.com. “If you have the chance, then you should do it. How many people live in Liverpool? 500,000? Iceland has 330,000, I think, so Liverpool should have enough people to create our own team! “But of course, the more the better. With Stevie and Carra, it was great to have those kind of boys come through, really cool. We will see with Curtis, there is still a long way to go but the first signs are really positive. He’s a good player, he can be very good, we will see. “It’s always this little plus if they come from Liverpool. If I have two players, same quality, but one speaks proper English and the other one speaks Scouse, the Scouser is in! That’s why we are Liverpool.” https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/309824-klopp-scousers-squad-liverpool-fc
