There will be work on the stadium though it is possible they will look at building a new one but i doubt it .
Still don't see the financial logic to this deal but ENIC who own Spurs must be loving it as the "value" of their club has surely gone up since they already have a new stadium which will produce great revenues .

Yeah but they have sunk the cash in so have a millstone. Spurs has then are not exactly expecting to win stuff.

Cheslea have a big problem with fan expectation after being hooks to the crack pipe of oil doping for 18 years.

if you mean Spurs have a millstone not sure i agree as it is creating a seriously big income stream more than covering any loan repayment fees with the bonus of knowing it would cost far far more today .

It still has to be paid for. It was massively over budget and does have a major impact.

Cl qualification is massive imo as I would have expected an exodus otherwise

it is affordable due to the amount it brings in and no way would there have been an exodus as the only players who anyone else coveted were on long(ish) contracts .

    Have you seen the repayments?

Have you see then nearly 1 billion debt?

Have you see the losses last year? over 100mil

Have you seen how much lower their revenues are even compared to arsenal never mind us?

That debt to build that bowl is a massive massive millstone. There's no other way to cut it.

Well since this season they will be able to make full use of the stadium we will know if it can be afforded in 12 months time .

    His agent is some desperado.

This is what 3 years he's been trying to get paid now.

Maybe if he told his player to try a leg they might get somewhere.

Nah, the very example of hot and cold. He's a one-in-five player when, if we need to progress, we need four-in-five players as a minimum. And yes, I know he plays for Watford, but we need players who can still shine and do all the right things when they're under the cosh, because sometimes he'll be expected to play in a side when the main stars are resting, and he'll need to step up to the plate. I was one of the ones who advocated getting Shaqiri for years, and indeed he is a skillful and special player - but put him in a scratch side for an early LC tie on a wet, cold night at West Brom away and he goes missing: and so will Sarr.

Interesting thought occurred to me, mainly whilst thinking about about the Salah/Mane issue

Some players are going to be well rested for the 2nd half of the season next year what with the WC splitting the season in two.
So using Mane and Salah as an example.
Mane is set for another full season of football, domestic, then international and back to domestic, even if Senegal only play 3 games he'll still have to play friendlies, go away and be in intensive training camps for about a month or so.
Salah on the other hand only has the domestic season to play for, ok Egypt will probably play some friendlies but that will be way less intense and Salah doesn't actually have to play in them.

Going to be a few like that this season, some will burnout by the March and some will probably be able to play through out the season.
Will add an interesting dynamic to next season. (will just add Haaland won't be going to the WC either )

So just on our squad alone

    Definitely not going:
    Milner (retired)
    Keita
    Salah
    Adrian
    Tsimikas
    Robertson
    Matip (retired)
    Diaz
    Kelleher

    Unlikely to go:
    Gomez
Konate (hasn't played senior int yet)
    Ox
    Jones
    Elliott
    Carvalho

    Probably going barring anything disastrous:
    Alisson
    Fabinho
    Firmino
    VvD
    TAA
    Henderson
    Thiago
Mane (if he's still with us)
    Mini
    Jota

Excuse me... I'll be in the garage with the car running.

No... I wouldn't cheer on either, but I would absolutely prefer Everton to win over United simply because there is a long way down to Everton's trophy count.

100% Everton if neither game effects us.

If we're playing either side, even if it's a pointless mid-table nothing game, Liverpool to win first. Then preferable Everton over Man Utd.

So much for Reece James being a better RB than TAA.

It wasn’t a penalty, but that’s not the point, Hungary are a 2nd tier second rate team and we lost to them. It was a terrible clueless performance.

Amd we still have to play Germany and Italy

Bellingham did his chances of moving during the summer a lot of good, or not.

I can’t stand Southgate as a coach. Just not offensive enough.
