Plays most games for them. 20 this season 29 last year 24 year before 21 before that Thats just the league.
Since 2000 Bayern have won 17 titles. At what point does the Bundesliga have any more importance than the SPL? Bayern have won the last 10 ffs. Not much of an achievement winning the league with Bayern anymore, almost a foregone conclusion.
Well they only play 34 in Germany as 18 team league. 20 games. Started 15. Subs 5 times Missed 3 games with heart condition. 2 with corona. Other ones have been missed through injuries. Bayern played 31 league games. 65% of games this season. Plus played 9 in the CL. when he’s fit, he’s played
I do wonder what happens to a league when this occurs, does peoples enthusiasm wain. Do you stop really paying attention, go from watching to maybe just checking the results, keeping an eye out but you are not to arsed. I cant help but think it's the death of a league to have one team so massively dominant for such a long period of time.
Might be wrong but sure I read (maybe year or two back) that Germany has the highest average attendance across all the leagues. Partly down to ticket prices as well.
I suppose it depends on what you count as a successful league. Cheap tickets and loads of fans tipping up to games or increased revenue and attracting the best players in the world. I was thinking of one but to be honest the other doesn't sound too bad.
The Germans I know are into their team but generally ignore bayern. I know a lad who's into stuttgart and another into eintract frankfurt. Tbh though I know a lot who couldn't be arsed as well.
Not sure how Newcastle have managed to jump up to 9th and an outside shot of Europe, probably down to the fact that alot of clubs feel pretty much safe and are starting to put their feet up. Villa and Palace on the other hand have dropped like a stone, but should be safe anyway and are playing like they know that.
