If they go down they are neck deep in the brown stuff as the EFL unlike the PL will take action against clubs who breach their FFP rules and Everton due to their wage bill certainly would .
its their wage bill that is the killer and will also make it difficult to offload a bunch of them . They would need to drop their wages by at least 40% as far as i can make out .

I beleive a few of the players have clauses that they can leave if the club are relegated. Could get very messy for EFC.
Thing is look at that squad and who would actually be looking to sign? Richarlison DCL Gordon Pickford Doucoure Prob the only few that are of some kind of decent prem quality. Richarlison has poor attitude so getting rid of him prob be best thing for the club anyway. Not sure how you move on others like Ali, Iwobi, Gomes, Allen, Mina who are all prob earning huge wages.
I would argue the one worry for Everton is the fact Moshiri is bankrolling them ( so far it is thought to be approx £500-600m ) but he is also Chairman of the board of USM which is the sanctioned Usmanovs company . What happens if USM itself gets sanctioned as that is where a lot of Moshiris wealth comes from as he is a large shareholder .
