Tbh best we could hope for.

Great result. City must have had 20 good chances there.

Palace had moments but it wasn't to be for us to see a.miracle.

10 games from greatness now.

 

Good result that although doesn’t change huge amounts until we play arsenal. Even then they’re still be 1 point ahead of us with the game at home v us so advantage city still.

 

Still need them to drop points though, not much has changed

 

could have at least said " no way Palace score if this continues till midnight "

I don't think you ever see our players starting to bitch at each other when things aren't going to plan the way City's do.

 

But win 10 and city can do absolutely nothing. Gs is now not on the table for them.

If we draw v arsenal or spurs (our hardest games left) then the win v city at theirs is still potentially a title winner.

It gives us a less than perfect result if we can beat them.

The problem I see is that city only have one or two games that will be as tricky for them. Wolves away and west sham away.

The arsenal and spurs games for us... and utd game are huge.

City love playing Palace, almost as much as we did when Rodgers was in charge.

City are just as likely to **** up against the decent mid table teams as the "big" clubs

So that result gives us a bit of leeway, but still want to win all our games,

 

Tbf, we all expected them to win tonight. It's these rogue games where they often drop points, not so much in the games that they're expected to find harder.
Still a mammoth task for us to win all our last games though - so we still need them to drop some more. I can see the game between us being a draw.

 

Overall the teams I think are most equipped to make it a bit awkward for this city side are wolves who are fairly sound at the back and west sham who are physical. Villa will be on the beach and it'll be all about Gerrard last day.

Brighton are a nice side but can't score enough and will do what they did against us.

Burnely never ever play v them.

Watford simply are not up to it.

Our issue is we play city, arsenal, spurs and utd I beleive as well as Everton and wolves.
