1/4 of the season gone. City lost to spurs, beat chelsea and drew with us. They've drawn with eest ham and lost on pens. I think it's safe to say they are beating up on the crap still but grealish hasnt improved them at all and theres a gap a mile wide in the front line. The mean defence pep built is keeping them in it. Otherwise I'd not back them to win a thing this year.
UEFA have released their club rankings: 1) Bayern Munich 2) Man City 3) Liverpool 4) Chelsea 5) Barcelona 6) PSG 7) Real Madrid 8) Juventus 9) Man Utd 10) Atlético Madrid
is this eura club coefficients? In case people missed this one but man utd reached the europa final and semi finals etc they get more points the longer clubs are in competitions. Bayern are top cos they have reached finals and won it in the 5 years but are also consistently in QF min. Barca are in there cos in 18/19 they were in a semi final. lost to someone. we are 3rd cos we reached a final and won the CL. the last 16 loss made a big dent for us. last season we got the 20 points for QF. We will drop down the list fairly quick as the final and win drop off. the difference between top 10 and top 20 is not that much either. its last 16 type level to last 8 level which kind of makes sense.
Xavi has reportedly agreed to become the new Barca coach. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...n-talks-to-make-xavi-hernandez-new-head-coach
great player but we all know that means nothing. It would be more credible if he’d already managed in a better league. What could go wrong?
