No need for sympathy, mate. lol

Because we're in leauge one our takeover went somewhat under the radar we're absolutely loaded ourselves. But the Mags new owners are on another planet. It's also bought them instant respect from media outlets that this time last week seen them as a joke, now they're lining up to kiss their arses.

The way the media reacts to events is just so predictable. They act like lemmings.

    Honesty in football.

    Lols.

Belgium have said that certain players have "muscle overloads" and have been returned to their clubs.

Now the truth is they ended up in a meaningless nations league 3rd place playoff so the big clubs pull their player and Belgium allowed it.

Why cant they just admit it gives them a chance to play some fringe players and be done with it.

    From whom?

    Houllier, rafa?

The very best thing for Gerrard is to beat it out of rangers before it ends in tears and he talks himself into an issue.

They are top but Europe has been poor and I reckon he can do no more now than blot his copybook.

I do think I'm unimpressed with his management though. Biggest fear I have for lfc is we turn to him next and lose linders etc as a result

And Rodgers and others. Yes they may not have won the premiership but they were very good managers with different styles. He’s taken Rangers well over Celtic who are now fallen far away. He will definitely do a great job rebuilding the team. Whether he will stay long term remains to be seen.

Yeah last season great, season before very good. This season squad doesn't look hot.

A smart man would smell the signs and either change his team OR change clubs.

Imo dalglish made this error, shankly made this error but bob paisley didn't cos he saw the impact as a coach under shanks.

These days change the club is the new option available to these coaches if they want to be that guy.

once a season has started to a large extent you can only tinker with the team and you can only swop jobs if one becomes available .

True so why am I not impressed? Hes not shifted a couple of problems on and not developed the successful side to evolve it.

You are right you need to be long term thinking to spot the jobs coming and have the luck that they do happen and you are the no 1 choice.

    Newcastle team rumours.

    Koubaily at cb. (Contract)
    Tarkowski (nearly out of contract)
Lingard (rubbish but nearly out of contract)
    Icardi (psg perennial rumours)
    Henderson (bad choice imo)
    The usual coutinho rubbish.

Seems like they can pay up massive wages and grab unlit on low fees there already.

I have no problem with a state buying a club, after all Man City are owned by a country no matter how they dress it up. It is the human rights bit I can't accept. All the media were in uproar about the state killing of a journalist, but seem to be able to accept the Newcastle buy out because it is an investment company buying them not the nasty Saudi state. Do me a favour, just because the family that rule the state hide behind an investment company does not make them good owners.
