I was browsing through this as I have been dying to ask the question? How far back does it have to be for a state to be considered murderers? I find it interesting as an outsider looking in whilst the same critics of sports washing need to look at their own countries and what they still do todate. Most billionares are beneficiaries to some pretty shady deals that have lead to deaths but it seems only the ones from the middle east are the bad ones.
Hopefully we'll do Tottenham next week.. I'm really looking fwd to the atmosphere it's been dead for years but it'll be white hot
I love how no one gives a **** about any of these human rights abuses until they want to buy a football club, then everyone becomes an expert humanitarian all of a sudden. Kill all you want, just dont skew the beautiful game, or I will start to care!
Interesting point. You could, for instance, bring US owners into the equation if you have serious objections to their country's foreign policy. The difference is that the Yank owners are not - we would hope - directly involved in implementing their government's actions and can't be considered guilty through association. With the Arab states, the people in question are responsible for their domestic policy, which we believe to be guilty of an array of generally accepted violations of human rights, so there is a distinct difference. In direct response to you asking how far back you go, my answer is you don't. Nobody is responsible for the sins of their fathers - what matters is who we are, here and now.
My point about Klopp is not him being recruited by Newcastle (Although that's possible in the future) but rather about him staying to keep us competitive. With him gone and hardly any money spent by miserly owners (in comparison) we'll be in mid table.
Really? You're slacking in your comprehensive reading of the forum then. Of course it's not a subject that is paramount in our daily discussions - it's a football forum - but to say nobody cares is way off the mark.
all that really matters is that arsenal and spurs are complete ****ed now. oh and EVERTON the to 6 will just keep changing as the clubs change hands until they all vanish off to the ESL.
Your club is run on buttons as your owners won’t stick a bean in, if any club is at risk of being run over in the next few years, then it’s actually you.
Lols. Mate, it's like as if I dangled a hook and you couldnt resist You are not wrong old son but you know I was fishing
Something happening in the PL? Will be some midtable club takeover like the Everton one, wont change the standings in the PL.... Oh it's Newcastle, someone should start a thread.
As others have said, it's not going to happen overnight for Newcastle but when it does those trying to keep up with us, city, utd and Chelsea will have another obstacle in the way.
