Depends who’s spinning it, like the Shaqiri fee https://www.eurosport.co.uk/footbal...ool-on-three-year-deal_sto8503043/story.shtml
Grujic signed permanently for Porto on 20 July, that's exactly 6 weeks ago, transfermarkt still showing a loan deal.
its not. we 100% sold him. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/438390-marko-grujic-seals-permanent-transfer-to-fc-porto permanent deal outlined on our website, can't be more definitive. Give sky also complete missed the sale of grabara as well i'm not shocked they didn't get this right either. if you want to take a hack on twitter for it or the official LFC webstie fair enough.
Sky probably used transfermarkt as well to come up with their table. Tbf it's not a bad starting point when looking for these things but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny when you're talking to the fans of the individual teams.
Actually, if we had no intention of buying anyone else beyond Kanote, Grujic going on loan for a year before being sold makes sense financially. We don't need the income for FFP right now but it could help later so why not delay it?
It is permanent so that’s true, it’s just you won’t get the fee for a year, as it’s a loan with an obligation to buy. It’s called spin. He’s far from a hack & was merely reiterating what FC Porto had put on their own site.
I think it's safe to say that Liverpool know whether or not a player has been sold or loaned. There's no further trawls of Twitter needed.
Is it just me or does anyone else think that next year if we put Grujics fee in our net transfer spend cost we will get posts about " that was last year "
Still a hack mate. Just like all the rest No different just cos he has something to report rather than rumour monger. The core point however is grujic was permanently transferred according to lfc.
Yes he was permanently transferred, as the buying club is committed to paying for him - in a years time. So no lie has been told, they’ve just chosen to spare the details
Tbf if you’re going along these lines of when the fee is due. Liverpool agreed that Fulham didn’t have to pay anything for Wilson this summer and the payment could be made next year to help with ffp so in there should remove the £12m from Wilson from the incomes as well.
