That Arsenal team is there for the taking today. Wouldn’t be a huge shock if Brentford win tonight

Brentford are 1 up and reasonable value for the lead

Arsenal ok going froward but a shambles of disorganisation and no leadership at the back. For 3rd season running arteta. That fa cup win over fat Frank bought him a season but it shouldn't buy him any time this season. Could well be first manager sacked.

On a brighter note canos the little greedy **** is finally getting his reward for forcing his move.

Bunch of randoms in the Brentford new ground. Wonder how many were ever at a game before.

    Wooooo 2 on 2 again.

Ben White made look a 50mil donkey but but guy drags it terribly wide.

Arsenal have no shape from midfield, its two cbs abandoned at the back without any desirable reason.

Arsenal look poor, its like arteta thought the season started next weekend and only realised he needed to put a team together a couple of hours ago.

Brentford look decent, but its hard to judge against a ****e arsenal team.

Interesting tactic by Brentford, hold the goalkeeper in while your players line up to head it in. Definitely a foul on the keeper

I thought that - clear foul for me. I don't think anyone even commented on it.
    Arsenal, though... <doh>

2nd Brentford goal was deffo a foul on the keeper, but Arsenal were pants. Brentford are clearly going to play a very physical game as they are a big side.

You can argue a foul but the keeper should be stronger, it's soft as ****

Agreed. It’s one of those that you generwlly see given in every game. But when I watch go, that’s such a soft foul, keepers are way too overprotected. Swap the keeper for a defender and you wouldn’t say it was a foul on the defender so why a foul on keeper?

Nev made good point, keeper should have shoved him off him before the throw even came in. But instead defence just let the guy walk to the keeper unchallenged and stand there. keepers for some reason are allowed to shove players as much as they want, whether you agree or not, so why didn’t Leno just shove him in the back and push him off?

Their every man up and keeper on half way is the fun sort of naivety that'll go down well this season. Salah will be kicking his chops thinking about fast break here.

Mane will probably kick it out for throw rather than pass to him though

Meh, forwards do that to defenders from long kicks all the time abs it’s fine. Just smart play pinning your opponent down. Leno should never have let the guy put his arms there, shove him off, highlight to the ref before the throw, do something rather than just stand there and let it happen. Poor goalkeeping.

50/50 to me. Think if it happens anywhere else no one moans. Only saying it’s foul cos keepers normally get fouls if someone breathes near them. Much rather keepers were treated just like every other player rather than always super protected
