The referees are actually a disgrace now. Mic them up so we can listen to their thought process, and add more transparency to this. All the blame is on VAR but there is zero accountability for the refs themselves.
It's weird there are more games than usual coming thick and fast in a shorter period but the whole empty stadiums and lack of fans has dumbed down the general enthusiasm for the game for me. Other than my team I rarely watch games but before I'd watch most others regularly. And I'd include the spanish league in that.
