So which big name, big ego player is Mourinho going to fight with if the slide continues to distract from his own ineptitude? Will it be Bale or Kane? The strategist in Jose should go for Bale since he is old and busted. The ego in Jose will probably go for Kane though. I don't think any of the other players have the ego or standing in British press for Jose to pick a fight with.
I reckon Kane, he has already got him playing centre mid and feeding Son as a wide left striker Soon blame him for a lack of goals/attacking prowess.
Kane would be the Mourinho pick. He can't win the fans over in that one and it'll get him a payoff quicker
Mourinho needs to explain why spurs are rubbish. Therefore Kane is an ideal target. He will start by talking about a goal drought. Even though Kane has 9 goals and 10 assists
Kane has been playing as a No 10 with Son regularly further forward and sometimes Bergwijn (sp) as well .
As critical as I am of Mourinho, I have to say that the questions journos ask are pretty useless. What is he meant to say in response to stuff like that?
Same weekend Man Utd concede 6 Liverpool concede 7 Man Utd score 6 Liverpool score 7 ergo we are better in every way .
I mean, I guess, they kind of are, if they can stick around and keep up for more than a matter of weeks, probably quite an 'if' given their drastic up down tendency I've said for a while though that under Ole they're not actually doing so badly, it's just the unevenness of their performances, capable of an outstanding performance one game, which then glosses over the dross of the next few games, then another standout game. I can understand the doom and gloom contingent in their fanbase, but it feels like they're over-achieving in terms of league position

No doubt they're in a better position than they have been for a while, but we need to see how the next half-dozen or so games go before any real trend can be predicted. Every time they get a win their resurgence is touted throughout the media - it's as though all articles were written by fans desperate to see their sense of entitlement justified.
As long as all the other teams drop points United will be contenders. In a normal year they wouldn't be good enough... this year, who knows... this is a messed up year and they might just be this year's Leicester. Honestly though, I suspect they've got enough for top 4 but highly doubt they will win the title. The 50 to 1 odds on them fairly recently was unjust to them though. 9 to 1 now is probably closer to realistic.
Fair play to united. Given all the stick ole gets, he’s doing a better job than frank and arteta who are getting much easier ride. however, you look and they were shocking v West Ham and should have been 3 down at Ht and only won from scoring couple quick goals. Saints, same things, couple late goals when saints should have been out of sight. sheff United, won by 1 goal with 3 goal keeping errors so that’s 9 points that they could have quite easily only been between 1-3 points. Remove 6 points and they’re down in 10th place behind West Ham. in a normal season where things are so congested they aren’t close to title but this is a weird season and said a month or so ago. Win 4/5 in a row and you go from mid table to title challengers. Same with arsenal, if they win 5 on bounce they’ll be challenging for top 4 comfortably.
In reality, they are as much of a contender as most atm - but as I explained above, it's the media's orgasmic response to every win that I find irritating. I thought they looked really good after the restart of last season - Fernandes had transformed them, but they've blown hot and cold this season and so we need a bit longer to see any real form develop before getting excited/concerned.
