Just looked that up and that's a bit of a trek from here too.

I was hoping to get to Anfield this year but it's only a month away and I'm scheduled to be on nights, too many people on leave to book it off as well <doh>

Will have to wait until next season unless there's a cup tie... providing we don't go down :bandit:

Ozil quit national team. Can’t blame him, the amount of **** he’s getting for having a photo done with Turkish president is pathetic.

People really need to get a life if they’re getting upset over that

Not quite as simple as that. A lot of tensions between Germany and Turkey atm with Erdogan (who is now basically a dictator) and the high number of Turkish and Turkish decent Germans living in Germany. Its something Ozil should have stayed clear from.

On top of that he has been sh!t for Germany

So you think he deserves all that ****? <whistle>

Bit pathetic imo. What next, you boys boo Salah because he supports a military nation who overthrew a democracy

He has a photo with a human being. Who cares? He’s not hurting anyone ffs. People need to grow up and actually worry about things that are worth worrying about.

With respect, although you do come on here occasionally, you don't use this board nearly often enough to be able to make that comment as there was a discussion about it on two different threads last week.

Also, with regard to hypocrisy - your comment to Roger .....

wouldn't have said Moutinho was a top top player but he's a good one.

How wolves have snagged him for 5m without anyone else trying to get him is amazing. 5m is like 2p nowadays (your 4th keeper went for 12.5m!).

It's one thing buying great players, it's another thing making them play your way. First season back up, first season in PL for some of their players = we'll see.

On the first point, fair enough it was poorly worded by me, I meant that I hadn't seen anyone really mention it bar in a defensive manner.

On the Roger point I disagree as it's two different things, I was making the point that if a discussion is taking place which doesn't interest you then when why would you comment as it seems a bit silly imo.

Whereas he was trying to say that I shouldn't post here because I don't support Liverpool which is completely different, and also bizzarre as this board probably has the highest amount of other teams fans.

Come off it, that's how this forum works on a daily basis <laugh>

The specifics of what you say here is just your take on this particular situation. I stand by my hypocrisy claim. You can post where and when you like - regardless of which team you support. He can post where and when he likes - regardless of whether he has any interest in what's being discussed. You trying to claim there's a difference is wrong mate.

Just to add, we're all hypocrites in one way or another at given times and in all sorts of situations. There's no shame in it. :p

Seaside resorts for the most part and really sad places. 100% agree with you on Hastings. Skegness is another. Blackpool has reinvented itself, while Bournemouth and Brighton are more than just resorts.

Its the agent. Its some seriously dodgy **** going on with him.

A lot of his players are being placed for virtually no money into wolves which he now owns.

Its like in football manager when you join a club then put a second manager in to real madrid and buy a youth for 150mil then complete the deal and retire the fake.

    Its just dodging the rules.
