amadou Sakho accepts 'substantial' damages from Wada ReutersCopyright: Reuters Some of today's back pages feature the story on Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho accepting "substantial" damages from the World Anti-Doping Agency over allegations he took banned performance-enhancing drugs. Sakho was briefly suspended in 2016 after testing positive for a fat-burning substance called higenamine. But Uefa cleared him when it found that higenamine was not banned by Wada. On Wednesday, Wada's lawyer said the agency "accepts it should not have made the defamatory allegations it did". Sakho, who missed the Europa League final against Sevilla as a result of the ban, was tested after a Europa League game against Manchester United that March while playing for Liverpool. The 30-year-old also claims the suspension cost him a place in France's Euro 2016 squad.
Looks more like they're defending the far end rather than the other way round. Hard to believe that this is the club that dominated the Premier League for so long. A complete an shambles.
Ole will never be called out for being a poor coach. The media / pundits will continue to say that players are underperforming or that the board aren't backing Ole. Which is fine by me, keep him in for as long as possible.
Think it was Matic. It’s hilarious cos that’s from a united corner, they took it short, passed the ball around for about 20 seconds and Ba just wondered up field. The whole united defence were up there (why shaw was up for a corner I’ve no idea). AWB then got involved cos they played it short so ended up with no one covering. Brilliant to watch.
It was Matic. Even funnier when you watch him struggling to catch a now very old and slow Demba Ba Might have set up a retort here involving Gerrard
That was the problem then, coaching, Matic should never have been the last man there in that situation. Ole out of his depth
Exactly, Matic is the last player you want to leave as last man. He's slower than RHC's snails It really is beyond belief they are where they are. The longer Ole stays the better, he's probably got a little bit more 'club legend' rope.
Here's to hoping Mourinho considers getting them second, one of his greatest achievements. He does some ad for a betting company, and he brings that up in the ad
more to the point how is your last man 15 yards in front of the oppo forward in their half within the first 14 mins of a game .
