That's ****ing embarrassing Should be able to retrospectively ban/book players when there's blatently zero contact
Said that for years, possibly decades now; if the camera shows there was clearly no contact it should be a automatic ten match ban. And before wums pop up, I said it for Suarez, Gerrard, Torres, etc too
Yup. Going down with soft contact is always questionable. I find it pathetic but most former players say it's all good. Hard to define what minimal and 'enough' contact is I suppose and fans like to defend their own players by saying they were "running fast". But anything else, I agree. Ban the ****ers. Shame them. It'll stop then.
If there is a ten game ban if it can be proven there was no contact, players may be less likely to take the risk on the minimal "contact" situations too.
If the Welshman can get fit and find some form, Spurs potentially have a very good front three in Bale, Son and Kane. The Spurs, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal front lines could make for some very entertaining football this season. Especially as a lot of defences are suspect to say the least.
considering it is a 3 match ban for a dangerous tackle 10 seems a bit extreme .All you could really do is have it as a red card with a 3 match ban as the punishment imo
