You can see the mentality of Southgate when he prefers Walker over TAA, even if TAA was not match fit he offers a lot more going forward and from set pieces. England were just crap. What the hell is Ward-Prowse doing in an England team, he is a decent Prem midfielder, but not international class.

Same here - I've said it many times on here. I'll watch international tournaments when there's no real football on, but the mid-season breaks piss me right off. As far as I'm concerned, they should all get together a couple of weeks before a tournament in the close season and that's all. They're all top players, so if they can't sort themselves out in that time sod 'em.
