Because you only notice good players when they have a contest, with your team most others just walk through your midfield and the defence stops them. Going the other way your defence passes out to the FBs or goes over the top to the attackers mostly by-passing the mid field. It's no surprise you don't know who plays in other teams midfield when the ball never gets contested there.
About the same price but in a different league, Naby is a European and world champion and soon to be PL winner
And all without playing, great stuff Sounds like Pogba without the World cup, great when he is injured
Lolz thats truly amazing, i genuinely cannot remember him being fit for more than 4 games in a row. Soz but hes a big let down for me so far. The lad can play no doubt about it. But never ****ing plays. I was hoping we'd think about moving him on soon if his injuries dont improve substantially.
I imagine a high proportion of them have been substitute appearances, 10 -20 minutes here and there - though I can't be bothered trying to find out. He clearly has talent, but you can't build a solid tactical structure to include a player who is out so often. Unless he gets himself fully fit and is available consistently he'll always be a peripheral figure.
So then I thought sod it, and I did look it up. He's played a lot more minutes than I thought, tbh. Which just makes it all the more surprising that he hasn't had more of an impact.
I'm sure he will have a couple of times at least but can't recall Naby playing the full ninety minutes
They’ve conceded 15 goals and scored 60 in 25 games which is more impressive considering they’re effectively an eight man team. Incredible really. Fabinho not getting into the first XI but they don’t have a midfield. Brilliant.
