Alexander-Arnold and Mane named among Ballon d'Or contenders
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sadio Mane have been named on the 30-man shortlist for the 2019 Ballon d'Or.
The Liverpool duo were among the first 10 players confirmed as contenders for the annual individual honour by France Football magazine on Monday evening.
They, of course, helped the Reds lift a sixth European Cup in Madrid in June, after a 97-point Premier League season, and Mane reached the Africa Cup of Nations final with Senegal.
The winner of the prize will be announced at a ceremony in Paris on Monday December 2.

Sadio Mane, Sergio Aguero, Frenkie de Jong, Hugo Lloris, Dusan Tadic, Kylian Mbappe, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Donny van de Beek, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

I was at the Sheff U v Liverpool game, wasn’t so easy for your lot either. He is doing a great job at Brammal Lane.
They are tough to beat at home which is what they need to survive. Their away record is poor though...

To play flowing football and get beat would you. Wilder did what was needed for the win. Some of the stuff t he y played last year was amazing, if that were Bielas they would be swooning over him.
