Newcastle down to 10 aswell, looks like Leicester are tucking in behind Citeh in 3rd spot. Top 6 contenders?
So City have Wolves, Palace and Villa whilst we have Leicester, United and Spurs as the next three games. City will only have played Spurs of any note following those games and we would have played Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea (Leicester?) and United. I know it's early doors, but if we can get through this month with a points lead over them, we'll be getting them worried imo.
Newcastle are poor and one of my favourites for the drop so going down to 10 men made Leicester look good. Next week, we’ll see how far they’ve come or how much we’re struggling after Europe. Should be a great game
It's a tall order. We'll have to be better than we have been recently, but I believe we'll rise to the occasion and will play better when the pressure is on. If we get 1 win and a draw from those 3 the best they could do is draw level (on points). I, of course, predict a win for us in all 3 games.
Pointless fact: If Leicester had beaten Man U in their game, they would now be second. Man U would be level on points with the relegation zone.
I tend to agree with Carragher on this - that Ollie always had the "feel" of an interim manager, a crowd pleaser.
