I'd have Ramsey and I think Henderson would have a great shout over Gerrard too. Gerrard had a very good season but is a well established top player. Ramsey and Hendersons seasons were so remarkable as they were seen as pretty average players til this year. Also Gerrard did ultimately lose Liverpool the title with 'slip-gate'.
Yeah Ramsey was a beast for the first 10-15 games of the season and was the major reason why Arsenal topped the table for so long prior to Christmas. But as usual injuries start hitting Arsenal post Christmas and they fall away.......Wenger really needs to change his training methods, I refuse to believe that its a coincidence that year after year Arsenal players start dropping like flies in the new year.
Nope I was watching Gerrard's 2 assists against a top half team rather than some meaningless goal against an relegated team
I think it's also to do with lack of depth. They seem to run their top players (Ramsay, Ozil) into the ground and then injuries are almost inevitable.
Was thinking Ramsey has been injured a little too long, otherwise he'd be in. Saying that I picked Aguero! Gerrard has had a very good season, not just his penalties... we've scored an awful lot from his set pieces and passing range. He's really reinvented himself. Not fair to base his entire season on one slip really!
