I can't see it. Bolton are the one team that probably carry a greater aerial threat than Stoke.

If Bolton beat Spurs at home as they usually do I can't see beyond them staying up as I'm sure they'll get a point at least from those last two.

One more point should see Villa safe

From tomorrow 6pm onwards, the only result that really matters before you next play is City v United. If City go into the last day top and need to win, IMO they will.

If we win tomorrow and we are three points clear plus over 10 goals depending on the result. Bolton then have to beat Spurs in the week and Spurs after tomorrow should be back in 4th position and will need to cement that position its worth everything to Spurs and they will defeat Bolton. If we don't beat Stoke then we deserve to go down, Also everyone thinks Wigan will beat Blackburn think about if Blackburn beat Wigan? ... Wolves have just started playing it seems... At this moment in time we can get 9 points if we get them then we stay up and deserve to stay up and that is the only way to stay up
    **** everyone else

No, I still feel Villa can be caught. I never thought you'd finish above Bolton but I still believe Villa can be caught. You'll need to literally become a Spurs fan over the next fortnight because they have the biggest say in this battle atm. If their plight continues I fear no matter what you do it may not be enough.

We are highly unlikely to win AWAY at both Chelsea and City!! Hence all the discussion about other teams' results and possible permutations!!

Feeling pretty deflated at the moment, especially after last week's win against Spurs. I'm going out for a couple of beers and a curry. Big, big day tomorrow.

Just think, if we win 5 - 0 we will go above Villa!

Most people would say we will get 3, possibly 4 points.

Bolton should get 3 to 4 points from those games but could get 0 to 7. A point tomorrow would be huge for us, it leaves Bolton needing 2 wins or a win and 2 draws assuming we then beat Stoke.

this sounds stupid, but i think bolton will only get 2 points in there last 3 games, lose to spurs and a draw on the other 2, spurs will be a much better team now saha, and ade are back, can play a different formation, instead of pumping balls up to defoe, that never worked against rangers,

I'd say 3 as Stoke are most certainly beatable away from the Brit but anything more than that will be unlikely but possible.

Don't lose hope yet, nobody is down and out yet not even Blackburn, it'll go down to the wire.

Been out this afternoon and got home to find some pretty rotten results, where did Wigan get that result from? Draws for Villa and Bolton not good for us either. Have to say nothing less than a draw required tomorrow. I'm watching Sheff U v Stevenage at the moment, I don't want us visiting them next season...

Blackburn are down IMO, we have to get at least 3 points for us to stay up, that means Blackburn need to get at least 7 to overtake us.

We have to beat Stoke and try and nick a point elsehwere, if Bolton beat that then so be it. I dont think many of us expect 5 points or more from these games. The only thing I will be gutted about is that it will be Hills goal that sent us down and the incompetence of the officials costing us the points in home games against WBA and Norwich.

We have already done enough to stay up if the officials were competent.

You should still be confident of staying up and pipping Villa IMO, but no team wins titles/goes down based on one decision.

You offer a lot more to the PL than Villa do and have been better than them for the majority of the season and I'm sure the table will reflect that come May

all this talk of beating chelsea ,getting a point from city and beating Stoke is giving me a horrid feeling about the whole thing. I hate to say it,but Ive just got a gut feeling we have left it too late and cant see us getting much out of are last 3 games.:(

Just got in with a bad feeling I wasn't going to enjoy seeing todays results - horribly confirmed. Also my thought for the last few weeks that we need at least 40 points to survive is still looking horribly right, usually my predictions are hopeless so still have some hope this one will be, but sh*t do we need 3 points tomorrow now!

Maybe it will be our turn for the first time since the home game against Chelsea to be on the lucky side of refereeing decisions - I fear we need every break going now, but its about time we got lucky.

What a stupid thing to say. Blame everyone else that's it. Every team has had incompetent referees.

We haven't done enough to stay up you idiot. If we go down it'll be all our (read Mark Hughes') own fault.

    Stop making silly excuses.
