Well done Wycombe. Chuffed to bits. Interesting that Blooms was considered not good enough for L1 but the game changed as soon as he came on. Does that mean this was effectively a L2 game?

Great to get the win, especially with two late goals. The down side was the defending. Two very poor goals to concede; how many times this season have we conceded goals when we have had a corner? And the second one was an absolute gift. Winfield didn't seem able to stay on his feet and for me Basey had his worst game since coming on loan.
I thought McNamee did all right, but do we really need another diminutive winger? I would have thought a central midfield player who can actually protect the defence a bit might be a better bet.
Still, it's nice to enjoy the win. Chesterfield aren't the worst side I've seen this season; probably just a bit low on confidence, and it's about time we beat somebody in the bottom half of the table.

Brilliant result today, you can't beat a late comeback with a last gasp winner for exitement. Great entertainment. We played well going forward, didn't panic too much when we were behind and created some decent chances. But we were awful at the back and any decent team would've absolutely buried us. Hopefully this result can spark a bit of a revival.

I've been saying for a long time that our defence reminds me of that old song My bucket's got a whole in it. So fix it dear Waddock, fix it. With what shall I fix it dear blues fans, dear blues fans? With what shall I fix it dear blues fans, with what?
Defenders dear Waddock dear Waddock dear Waddock. Defenders dear Waddock Defenders that's what. But where can I find them dear blues fans dear blues fans, oh where can I find them dear blues fans oh where. Oh **** knows dear Waddock dear Waddock dear Waddock. Oh **** knows dear Waddock dear Waddock, **** knows. Just sort it.

reflecting back on yesterdays game wandermagic is right a better team would have torn us to pieces with defending like that, thankfully chesterfield showed why they are bottom.apart from their front two they didnt seem to have anyone else capable of causing us problems and we gifted them both their goals.the table doesnt lie both teams cant defend and thats where the problem lies,we need to score 3 or 4 goals a game to have a chance of getting 3 points and we are not gonna do that against a lot of the teams in this division.ultimately we have to beat teams in and around us to stay up and the only way we can achieve that is by getting in a centre half to partner leon. winfield has been off form for a few weeks now and we cant afford to carry players in the position we are in.basey can play there but he is needed at left back, maybe its too early for young anthony stewart so what other options do we have foster at centre half<yikes>.we have so many midfielders at the club maybe gw should offload some deadwood like halls and tunny to free up some money to get a centre half in on loan or permanent or the inevitable relegation will follow.

our defence was poor, leon looked good but big dave has struggled in general this season. the answer is probably a new centre back: who i dont know

Would be nice to celebrate the win and not complain about performances.
I do appreciate the concerns though and for servival some of these problems do need sorting out.
Well done Wycombe for giving it your all until the end!
