The only team i fear is ourselves,last season we looked for the vast majority of it nailed on certainties it was ours to lose, and boy did we in a spectacular fashion.
this season very similar to last,we look possibly the best,and with much the same team, so once again will we implode like last season at the business end,one things for sure our defence is much sounder with Ben White,and as you are all saying if only we could be more of a goal threat we could romp this league.

Right now you’d worry about Forest and Fulham. But I’m sticking with the approach that it’s Leeds we need to focus on. Only two team are averaging over 2 points a game, we are one of them, come end of season it’s (almost) certain a club with 92+ points will be in an auto promotion slot.

It depends whether we fade again. There’s reasons to be hopeful we won’t - the defence with Ben White added is very good for this division, we seem to have more options so less reliant on Pablo (who is bound to fade now and then given his age). Main issue is we never seem to score for fun, still think we need more answers to that.

 

It would be nice to boost our goal average, I’m fearful of Kiko getting a ban and derailing us.

Yes I saw him make some good saves the other night. Not sure it being U23 matters as much for a GK, as far as shot stopping goes anyway, what I don’t know is what is overall play is like, Bielsa likes the GK to be part of the build up play.

 

You guys have recovered well after a mini ‘wobble’ earlier.
I agree with an earlier post which mentioned us - I don’t see us as top 2 - at the moment - but we are more consistent than the previous 2 seasons and only beaten 3 times (albeit soundly - hence our poor GD) and we have responded to our defeats well - in the past we would go on a losing run.
We have been ravaged by injuries this season so far but we are still in the mix, so who knows ?!!
We are missing a striker - and waiting for you guys to release Nketiah to us!!!! Benik Afobe was really good for us until he did his ACL - there is talk of him returning in March which would make things a bit more interesting.
