It's what you've all been waiting for... the World Cup edition of the now infamous IBWT Prediction League.
Rules have been amended slightly for the WC edition due to the amount of games being played in such a short period of time. If interested in playing you just need to predict the scores of the games listed in the OP. No need to specify scorers so keeps things nice and simple for those of you who wouldn't be able to name a Costa Rican or Honduran goal scorer
So, the rules.
Points will be awarded for the following
So the first batch of game you need to predict in preparation for next Thursday kick off are:
Thursday
Brazil v Croatia
Friday
Mexico v Cameroon
Spain v Netherlands
Chile v Australia
Saturday
Colombia v Greece
Uruguay v Costa Rica
England v Italy
Sunday
Ivory Coast v Japan
Switzerland v Ecuador
France v Honduras
Argentina v Bosnia-Herzegovina
Monday
Iran v Nigeria
Germany v Portugal
Ghana v USA
World Cup Winner -
Golden Boot -
Where England will finish (Group stage, Round of 16, QF's, SF's, Runners Up or Champs)
If you predict the WC winner as England, you have to select them as Champs in your "where will England finish"
Please predict all fixtures in one go and try not to split them up into separate posts just to make things easier for me. Towards the end of the first group stage, I'll put up a thread for you to start posting scores for the 2nd round of group games and so on.
Hopefully those who post stick with it throughout just to make it a bit of fun and have tried to keep it simple for everyone.
So get thinking and posting and enjoy.

- Post your Golden Boot Winner
- Post your WC winners
- And finally, where you think England will reach

- 5 points for predicting the correct score (superseding the 1 for correct result)
- 1 point for predicting the correct result
- 15 points for correctly predicting the WC winner
- 15 points for correctly predicting the Golden Boot winner
- 10 points for correctly predicting where England will finish
