It's Here Again!

Please put your names below for the prediction league for the new season. Hope fully we may get some new face's to have a go?

Also place your 31/12/16 Argyle position and the final position for end of the season.

Half season will be 75 points correct or 40 for the closest if nobody gets it correct.
Final position will be 200 points correct and 100 points for closest if nobody gets it correct.

Points change.

3 Points for a score that is correct and 1 point if your prediction wins.. you know what i mean i think
1 for a draw.

Joker count's as double each week.

First goal scored in the match time, Correct 5 points, closest to the time 3 points.

All Predictions must be received prior to the kick off time.

This year the prize for last is waiting to be announced?
Good luck..

Is that 1 point for correct result Joe i.e. win or lose but not the right scoreline or do you really mean 1 for a draw?

I'm in.

31.12.16 position 7th.

End of season 2nd.

Can someone acquiant me with the rules? Is that it or do you also try to predict weekly results?

I follow everything Argyle closely but after that my attention switches to the Premier League rather than a close interest in what's happening in the marble halls of Accrington or Wycombe. To put it another way, I'm dead meat before I start!

ND yes its easy.. ask sensible he is the master??

Just predict each week with a joker on one game, 3 points for the correct score, 1 if you get the result , 1 for a draw a joker is double.. 1 per week unless i say more to be used sometimes.

Predict the teams position at the end of december and the end of season. Also the first goal time in the match on the day. hope you understand it now.

Its so easy to do but not to predict. Welcome to the league.. all a bit fun.. :emoticon-0148-yes: Just watch sensible as he copies other scores :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl<laugh><laugh>

Not sure if Joe was totally clear-in addition to what he said, we guess the result of every league 2 match (and a few random cup games). No football knowledge or experience is required . Rules change from time to time (triple points , double points , reverse scores) at the whim of Joe. Knowledge of football or the going ons elsewhere in L2 has no bearing on the eventual winner. Needless to say, I have never won but it adds another bit of fun to a Saturday,

Well done Lyndy, NDG we dont have any rules. Just join in and enjoy a bit of fun.. you cant be bad all season and still win if you predict the end of season finish.. Its all guess work..

Look at me i was last most of the season then boom i ended up at the top on my Argyle's finish prediction
Like the song says "Whats love (luck) got to do with it" lol

He was banned notdistant which why he voted to sell the country down the swanee........well he was in Bournemouth as he told me a week ago. He's back now though.

Count me in Joe.

End of Dec.....4th.

End of season.....5th.

Not sure about this squad......struggled against Torquay (level 5).........poor against Weymouth (level 7)....only draws......beat Truro (level 6) only 2-0.

Thrashed the Pub teams....only fitness benefits.....nothing else worthy of mentioning.

Two more taxing matches to come....including our only home game against WBA....that might tell us something about our defence....by then it will be to late, the season will be upon us.

Based on blind faith and hopeless optimism, I'm going to go for 6th at the end of December and 2nd at the end of the season.

A very new squad takes a while to come good but improves as the year goes on (and Brunty returns in the New Year!).
