    I didn't realise I could go out either! I was quite chuffed with going from 3rd to 1st, then assumed I'd go down to 2nd if Stevie got his prediction right. Turns out I should have changed my prediction to match his rather than just joke about it. Although it wouldn't have been the most sporting of behaviour <laugh>.

    Yes, next season a league system could happen but I just thought there probably wouldn't be enough time to get everything sorted then play each person once.

    Bobby4320 - There is now a break as there are no Premier League games at the weekend. So, the next games will be the weekend of Newcastle v Bolton. That will be the last 16 ties. However, the draw will be made sometime soon, so you will know your opponent for then soon.

    overseas - You may actually still finish top as I haven't checked goals scored yet.

    Instead of doing a draw you could use the world cup system of having Group A winner vs Group B Runner-Up and then Group A Runner-Up vs Group B winner and so one to make it easier for you.

    aginairr - We could do that but if it is a draw it will definitely be someone who came 1st v someone who came 2nd, to give group winners a slight advantage.

    came 3rd in the 606 world cup,was second in the league i was in until it was disbanded on 606 now reduced to the Europa league definitely on the slide i feel like liverpool:emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Now I'm not one to complain as you all well know, however I can't believe my paltry total.

    Whilst I'm acknowleged as being one of our let's say ' more Maverick predictors' I think someone's pulling a fast one here.
    Either that or I don't know how the scoring works, I thought I'd done ok.
