Lets put it this way it made such a difference that when we played the ball out wide the full backs had a player to pass to or overlap giving us a bit more width then obviously space in the middle. Common sense really Burnley had to come wide then left a few options in the middle for us too. Don’t get me wrong we didn’t do much with it but at least it gave us a few more option. Plus as the post above says it didn’t take much to improve LL performance.

Well what we are serving up to the paying faithful at the moment is unacceptable, remember, the Platignum ST holders have to renew by the end of this month, and believe me season ticket sales will plummet if Malky Turgid Mackay doesnt do something really sharpish, people go on about squads etc etc, ours is no bigger or smaller than the vast majority of clubs in this league, thats what they get paid thier money for, we have loads of players in the sidelines that could do a job it MM's favoured 13 cant hack it, we have nothing to lose at the moment so give others a run out, lots of people thought DJ had his favorites but the same applies to MM if truth be told. If we dont beat Cov on wednesday i predict we will go from 18k ST holders to about 12k, i hope i am wrong, but people will just not put up with the rubbish being served up at the moment. I am not a big one for stats, but one that sticks out is the amount of Pens we have had this year compared to last season, there is a simple reason, we do not attack the box enough, Why, We havent got the players to do it, for me, bring back Bothroyd, Chopra et al, at least they were good on the eye and provided the fans with excitement and something to shout about. This is the worst team i have seen since the early 80's and believe me that was pretty poor fare.
