Very very few predictions of the toon being relegated. They've really ****ed up haven't they by leaving it so late?. I think just a month earlier of getting their **** together would have done it.
They shouldn't be near the relegation zone with the players they have. I wonder which bright spark at Newcastle piped up with "I know who's available, Steve McClaren!"
Those predictions were all made between Jan and Feb really, so no one was really picking Newcastle for relegation due to all the money spent, and the quality players they seemed to have compared to the teams around them. And then they got Rafa in... I must be honest I put Newcastle in my pick purely because I wanted a unique pick Worked out in the end...
