"The most common Premier League score in the 2018/19 season was 2-0. That came in 17.6% of the time during the campaign, according to the official Premier League site. The second most common scoreline was 2-1, as this paid off in 16.3% of the matches, followed by 1-0, which occurred in 14.5% of matches. A 1-0 scoreline was the most common final result in the 2017/18 campaign, ahead of 2-1 and 2-0, but the trend appears to be shifting towards more goals. There were just 21 0-0 draws during the 2018/19 season, down from 32 the previous term. "

Be interesting to know the VAR impact in 19/20. Goals getting ruled out when they draw the stupid lines for marginal offsides which often look very subjective for me. Goals getting ruled out because it hit brushed someones arm in the build up 2 minutes earlier, etc. Then again maybe it evened out with Man Utd being awarded a pen every game!
