Lucas on the bench with Allen. Here is is in full
Jones, Kelly, Toure, Sakho, Coates, Enrique, Lucas, Allen, Suso, Ibe, Lambert.
Not much there to make an impact to be honest, I imagine it'll look much better when Lallana and Markovic come back

First correct team prediction I've ever made 
Strong team. I think Can needs more game time alongside Hendo and Gerrard to work out what his role is so that's good, and it'll end up similar to Hendo really. They'll be our two midfield all rounders - although I think Lallana will fill that role too. Hopefully we can get through this game with no injuries (looking at you Sturridge).
Also, I am really excited to seeing Lovren. Really optimistic that he'll turn our defense around.

Rodgers will never put Texeira on the bench over Allen and we need Lucas on there for a defensive option
Crap team. At least 3 who might not be here at end of window. Another 3 who are unlikely to figure too much poss 4 with Allen. Where's lovren,can and manquilla ? Sturridge meant to be fit but not playing. Don't understand the theory behind this. Toure/ Coates/ Lucas/Allen given a lot of game time pre season and can't understand why with season starting next week. Thought at least it would be starting eleven for 60 mins
I've pushed for us to sign Lovren since last season finished after reading the reports from Saints fans about his performances. If he flops I probably will disappear for a time, work commitments , etc.
Pity Markovic is injured as I have not seen him play much, but he is apparently highly rated, I suppose it is better that any injured players are brought back fully fit rather than risking a recurrence of an injury playing in a meaningless friendly.
Pity this does not apply to Johnson who we are always told is "carrying an injury" when he plays badly. If that's the case don't play him then!

I can see this being our lineup v Saints next weekend. Unless we make a big signing by Thursday.
Even if we make a big signing this week I can't see them going straight into the 1st team. Maybe bench. I think the starting team today will start against Saints, unless Markovic or Enrique is fit.

That suggests a diamond to me. Which means Can wont be wide but will be left or right of center.
