    What a pass from Gerrard. 60 yard pass ends up about 3 inches over the defender, right into Sterling's path.

    It's what you'd hope and expect though, closer you get to start of the season you want things to be clicking into place. Added to the fact we're in a more comfortable environment heat wise compared to America and it's probably the strongest team we've played all pre-season.

    prefer any of our midfielders to Lucas. He's too 1 dimensional now. Looks like he's off to Napoli though

    Man quill doesn't look where he passed ball. Just kicks and hopes someone is there. Done that several times now.

    Got pace and gets into useful positions but needs to work on passing.

    I'd prefer Lucas to stay another year unless a big offer is made. Keep the pressure of Can whilst he settles.

    Imagine if Gerrard got injured, and even worse, Gerrard and Henderson.

    Similar to most young players though. Their final ball is very inconsistent.

    You can tell it's pre-season when Gerrard is showboating <laugh>
