Migs
Kelly Coates Sakho Enrique
Hendo Can Allen
Ibe Sterling Coutinho

Would be interesting to see Sterling play more centrally, or Coutinho as a "false 9". Anyway, point is, front 3 all interchanging around. Who knows, Sterling might find a new position centrally.

Or Suso in for Coutinho/Ibe.

Side I'd like to see tonight with players avaialble:

Migs
Johnson - Skrtel - Sakho - Enrique
Hendo - Can - Allen
Ibe - Lambert - Sterling

All he has got is pace. There's very little subtlety or creativity from him. Premiership defenders will have him for a snack.

<yikes> Harsh critic.

He's shown glimpses throughout pre-season. He'll be playing against a mid table Prem defence today so would be a good idea to see how he does against them <ok>

I think Ibe is a better player than Sterling. Obviously Raheem IS better because he's made the step up but Ibe has more going for him at the same stage of careers.

He's shown plenty about him this preseason. I know it's only friendlies. Plus that's what everyone said about sterling to start with, that all he had was pace.

I think Ibe needs games consistently like sterling got those what 19 in a row (where we suffered btw) helped him

Ibe needs to polish the whole finishing side of his game whether it's a shot or a final ball... Won't do it with us next year, crying out for a prem loan and games

Liverpool XI in full: Mignolet, Kelly, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Coutinho, Lambert, Sterling.

Substitutes: Jones, Toure, Coates, Lucas, Can, Coady, Ibe, Phillips, Robinson, Peterson, Suso.

Johnson at LB then.

Other than that, pretty standard team to face United.
