    I think Gomez has struggled this game.

    Skrtel and Lovren just doesn't work - they're awful. Migs looks shaky whenever he plays behind them.

    But the issue is the midfield - 2 man mid of Milner and Henderson is incapable of controlling the mid, getting the ball to the creative players or protecting the defence.

    Same issues.

    Gomez has looked confident for me, maybe one or two times playing in to trouble. Can't disagree about Skrtel and Lovren.. Midfield needs Can.

    Defensively, he's been caught out of position a few times and easily beaten.

    No way he should be considered a left back which is unfair to the lad.

    Tbf, he's growing into the game.
