"The kindness that we always receive from the people of Thailand always amazes us every time we come here, so on behalf of all the supporters, all of the football players and the staff, and obviously the journalists that have travelled from England, thank you for your kindness and we really appreciate that."

It was the open training session wasn't it? Rodgers turned it into a 30 minute each way game for the fans who'd turned up and played all the young lads <ok>

Fulton, Wisdom, Toure, Sakho, Maguire, Ojo, Chirivella, Rossiter, Teixeira, Markovic, Ings.

Shame Lovren seems to be getting game time ahead of Sakho. I rate Sakho much higher than Lovren. Would Hope Sakho, Markovic and Tex all get at least 45 mins tomorrow to impress.
Markovic and Tex have both looked good but i fear they may get Susoed out with a lack of opportunities this season

It looks like Coutinho forgot how much colder it is here compared to Brazil.

    OK where's Firmino. ..

Balotelli trying to get fit eh eh?

    Or borini or Enrique. ...

It must be very awkward as a pro when these guys turn up and you are there when the obvious question is.

And why are you not on tour?

    perhaps.

given the fact they were total gash nothing can be made of this.

at least we aint chelsea <whistle>

LFC need to get this last game over, get the F home and start putting the attack together fast as we've i think 3 games. one v swindon and one in finland to let guys play in public and about 2/3 weeks to get benteke, firmino and coutinho integrated into this side.

    fun times.

Pre-season results don't matter but playing football that is at least bordering on competitive does. Liverpool's choice of pre-season opposition is bizarre. They'll be going into the new season completely cold.

    absolutely correct. they don't.

I would call the games exhibition. the last one is always sought to be getting up to speed but you never can tell.

LFC have done poorly with their tour this time. poor commerically, poor competitively... this 7-0 was an open training and they got nothing out of it.

Adelaide were not that bad but ot the top kind of side. they worked a bit.

the first game was a joke. usually we play a preston game etc before going to get it out of the way.. the hot weather training was too short... the game was a farce due to rain. We actually wanted to go to china but failed to get it done and the game fell through.. obviously zero interest in LFC in china.

The aussie part the games were reasonably ok but a low key tour.

This malaysia leg is again just getting it out of way.

We won't be cold though thats just wishful thinking. we've 2 more ties to do after tooday and I think we've worked a bit on defnece and midfield by bascially sending out best players we have in those slots available... (sahko slight knock) in last two games. milner and henderson togehter,c lynce etc etc at the back.

We will be having to intergate 3 new forwards in (as in not met up in coutinhos case)

better than LVG savaging your signing for his performances mind <whistle>

I've no doubt serious lessons must be learn commercially from this... it was badly organised and the result of a bad team performance in last season and lack of starts should be hammered home to FSG. Bring a star and the crowds in far east come. bring milner and ibe and they won't.

LFc need a big season out of benteke and firmino... if nothing else to sell shirts.

Playing Australian, Malaysian and Finnish sides won't get the Liverpool players anything close to PL ready. The game against Swindon might stretch them a bit though.
