    It is indeed. The shirts with collars are the official team travel-wear apparently. At first I thought they were training tops.

    Apparently the training tops are a different material, without collar and have black badge on white shirt for players, vice-versa for staff.

    I don't know about anyone else but the hairs stood up on my neck looking at all the stuff posted by the media team these last 24 hours. Like others, I was bit cynical a out all this 'it's happening stuff' and 'the southampton way- attention to detail' etc. what we seeing now is a club that is putting all that into practice. It's not just hollow words. They are being treated like and acting like world champions yet they are keeping their feet on the ground. The comradarie is obvious and the upbeat mood comes across in spades. It's not just about winning silverware; it's also about working a single team, enjoying every moment, and supporting one another on and off the pitch. That is what breeds success and will undoubtedly bring us even more success on the pitch. Happy times.

    He struggles with his weight...there were some photos before he joined us and he looked moon-faced. He also wouldn't touch his birthday cake given to him by the press because he was on a diet. Wouldn't set a good example to the lads to turn up with a chianti-belly.
