Another cynical foul and their captain goes in the book.
Can't see the number 16 lasting much longer. Clearly injured.
 
Muniesa picks up a booking for another ****ty foul. This time it's a loose elbow.

2-1 HT. Rubbish half, only mitigated by the use of so many youngsters.
Struggling to get forward with any urgency and pretty shambolic at the back.
Fairly fortunate to only be one goal behind.
 
Another booking - this time for a deliberate arm on Aurier!

Vorm’s been our best player, some cracking saves.

Very makeshift side though, not sure the point in accepting a friendly against good opposition only to approach it with a side you’d put together for a training session. There’s no benefit us playing this game.
 
Should be 2-2. Big chance for Amos, created for himself by picking off a loose pass. Unlucky.
 
More sleeping on a set-piece and it should be 3-1. Won'tpaywe'lltakeitaway misses a decent chance.

Vorm was replaced by Gazzaniga at half-time, apparently.
 
3-1. Missed all of that because my stream skipped around, but caught the finish.
Looked a bit offside and there was a dodgy tackle, but it's more poor defending.
 
4-1. Garcia. Portu should've scored and a simple ball in behind worked again.
The defence appear to have given up and this is going to be embarrassing.

Pointless friendly that’ll now likely result in demotivating squad/ youth players.
 
I have said this before, but I would be happy never to see Aurier in a Spurs shirt again. He is an embarrassment.

He’s been off the pitch for 15 minutes <laugh>.

Not that I disagree though. KWP looks so much better (today aside... as everyone has been cack).
 
N'Koudou's been the only one looking like doing anything, so he's been replaced by Tanganga.
Switched to three at the back, I guess.
 
I was considering going to this when the fixture was announced, thought it’d be a decent little weekend away.

I’m glad I procrastinated and ended up forgetting.

Oh well - maybe this will act as a bit of a wake up call for some of the kids who have been lauded the last few days.
Nothing like a hammering to bring them back down to earth :emoticon-0148-yes:
