A very respectable performance. Juventus were rather poor, weren't they?
We played like we did in the last part of last season and almost everyone looks poor up against that. Should have been 4-1 really. I was right behind Sissoko's shot in the first half and everyone near me was celebrating a goal.
I didn't think any of their side looked as good as ours man for man and there was no discernible difference when Walker-Peters came on.
Was there an official attendance figure. I'd guess about 25,000 max. I think it was a good plan to have a friendly at our temporary home but it was bound to be poorly attended as now our fans can actually get tickets for PL matches they are going to have a lot less spare cash

I can't believe Juventus are that poor the last 15 minutes seemed to wake them up from a deep slumber but too late, the prince had left and the princess was satisfied. Apart from Sandro they were very friendly indeed.

Pre-season is just about getting fit.
And bedding in new players - well, for some teams anyway <sorry>

Why are you sorry? I agree it's about getting fit but there would seem to be little point fitness wise to ambling about a football pitch in a disinterested manner. The only reason would appear to be MONEY. The last 15 minutes would appear to have been their workout; in the next game will they play for 30 minutes? The slow build; perhaps they are right after all they did get to the final of the CL.

Holy smoke,Man United. According to Yardbarker.....a newsletter I get,United are ready to sign Bale with someone being exchanged....and Ronaldo want to return to England and United because of his tax problems.
Way to go United.Sign 'em all up!

Thought.....will they all live in Manchester? (Ouch!) or fly home each day?....or buy their own plane? They can afford it....

I wonder what the Tommy Lawton's and Stan Matthews would think if they could see how much they "earn" today?

United's Moron ready to spend another 90 million.....what's money when it's not yours!!!!? Is this desperation?
