Anybody stand out remote?Finished 1-1. Looks to have been a decent run out.
Sorry Nin, just spotted this.Anybody stand out remote?
Seen the clip now. It’s difficult to gauge the performances in these pre season games with multiple substitutions and against very different types of opponents.Highlights looked OK.
Again a high press and forward looking, so a definite change in approach as with other pre-season games.
Etete busy and linked play up, but no real goal threat.
Robinson heavily involved with quite a few shots.
Ashford got on the ball and moved it quickly.
Colwill Jnr had some good involvement.
None of the youngsters looked out of place.
Erol quite critical of the team, concentrating on areas that need improvement. I'm ok with that if he keeps it general. No picking on individuals in public.

In fairness, Bulut has stated that he's trying to address the goalscoring issue. The problem he has is that every other championship manager is trying to to the same.Seen the clip now. Alnwick made a few smart saves and there was a nicely taken goal from young Colwill. King looked knackered. Etete cannot be the main striker - he’s lightweight. It’s been stated here many times but Bulut has to address this position asap for City to have any chance of top 6 they need a 15-20 goal marksman. Ashford shows promise but hasn’t shown he’s going to net enough.
Back to the pre season games, I think we're witnessing the beginning of a change of emphasis in how we play.
The intent does seem different this year. Wanting to and being able to are different things though. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.It had to change after last seasons slow build up and defensive rather than offensive emphasis.
Starting to look like a first choice side. Willock and Chambers on the bench. You must log in or register to see images
