Would've loved to take the grandson to York but with it being such a small stadium, tickets will be like gold dust
sure will be like gold dust not be many tickets as it only holds 8.5k probably need about 70 points

I miss our Hartlepool matches. Last time we played thèm i was sat next too Ballard. I took my nephew and he couldn't believe how easy it was to be close to the players

Funny how you see things differently.

We went to Hartlepool in 2023. It was the day after flying home from a long haul holiday, so we were still really jetlagged. We got caught up in traffic on the way and then there was massive queues to get in. By the time we finally managed to get into the ground, we had to stand at the front where the shelter didn't really cover us so we were getting rained on. We got beat 5-2. Drove home soaking wet and in the huff wondering why I'd bothered going!

I've got good memories of playing Hartlepool pre-season - talking to Tony Coton and Micky Gray at the Hillcarter Hotel afterwards whilst watching Quinny downing a pint of Guinness without really swallowing. Couldn't get close to talk to him cos he was surrounded. Plus, I'll always remember Allardyce walking out at half time to go and talk to England, something I will never condone. Yes it was his dream job but he couldn't even stay for a full game before he decided to **** off
