Yeah. Every time I saw him last year I thought he may have quietly been a bit of a bargain signing. Glad he’s getting fit.
The line up is second string, But shows how much investment we have had this summer so far, and we are still missing 2 strikers and 1 number 10 to come in too. My biggest happiness is seeing Perraud back, he is absolutely quality, And i much prefer the 11 when he is playing there ahead of KWP.
Just adds that element we can go inside or outside on the left now, And he won't go missing in defensive phases. I do hope Ralph is brave and plays 4 at the back against Spurs with ABK as his partner.
Good, little surprised he’s not even on the bench then but I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation. Impossible/pointless to read too much into pre-season lineups anyway.

Their passing is miles better than ours. We seem to be content for the centre backs to pass to each other and the keeper for ages then give it away. Hopefully this isn’t the actual tactics for the season
