Former Aberdeen GK linked with us Scott Brown according to James McNamara I can't see him coming to us to be a back keeper.
According to the Post, who have quoted either the Sun or Mirror, Wigan wants Matty. If so, they can approach him and we can then attempt to match it. I just hate all the waiting around. We could be missing out on great potential replacements while he is waiting for other clubs to approach him. Look Matty and all the rest of the players not yet signed, if you dont want to stay with us, the team who gave you your league break, then give us the courtesy and tell us so, so we can start building our assault on league 1. If you want to stay, then flipping hurry up and sign on the dotted lines for crying out loud - like Mildenhall did!
I can understand everyone's frustration that the old guard have yet to sign up but I also think it is fair for the players to be allowed to consider any offers that are made to them, before they commit. Playing careers are very short and with two sequential promotions, the current team have yet to hit the peak of their potential, which means they are in an advantageous position to attract attention.

Most of our squad are still on holiday. I wouldn't expect much to happen for another week or so. Taylor (obviously) & Bodin are the two we defo need to keep.
We all knew Taylor would be in the shop window with a lot of interest. Would love him to stay obviously, but it's bodin I really want us to keep. Think that lad has massive amount to show us all yet... He's not even got out of first gear regarding the talent he has on offer. And will prove to be a high end goal scorer.
Great news. Reminds me a bit of Michael Smith. Not such a good 1st year but excellent 2nd year. 1 of our most improved players. Fully deserves this contract says I. Full story from our OS.... Bristol Rovers defender Daniel Leadbitter has agreed a new contract with the club. The pacey defender made 36 appearances for Darrell Clarke's promotion winning side last season and has agreed a new and improved two-year deal. Chris Postle, Daniel's agent, has worked very closely with key members of the Club to get this deal over the line to the satisfaction of both parties. Leadbitter told the club "It's great to have signed another deal, the past two years have been the most memorable and enjoyable of my career so far. With the spirit in the group we had last year there's no reason why we can't go further." Daniel Leadbitter joined the in the summer of 2014 and made his club debut against Grimsby Town on the opening day of last season. The former Torquay United man scored his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win against Lincoln City on 13th September and was on the bench for last season¹s Play-Off Final. Having secured another member of last seasons promotion winning squad on a longer contract, Rovers Chairman Steve Hamer is happy with the progress being made so far, "It's another clear indication that we want to reward and keep our most talented players and I for one will look forward to watching Danny playing at a higher level next season. He's a smashing lad and could go a long way in the game, hopefully with us at Bristol Rovers." http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...ees-new-deal-3137764.aspx#AzZOD5PkmqMqZRe2.99
It's going to be interesting to see after we know who's staying and who's going. What additions DC has in mind to try and sign?
