I was looking at the highlights of the lad from Port Vale. He seemed to be scoring alla Matty Taylor.
2007–2014 Crewe Alexandra played 262 games and scored 31 goals. 2014–2016 Port Vale played 51 games and scored 4 goals. Thats 313 games played scoring 35. Sounds like the Matty Taylor thast we signed but not the Matty Taylor we have now
From the OS... Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that Ollie Clarke has signed a new deal with the club. Central midfielder Ollie has suffered a spate of injury problems since signing his first professional contract at the club, though he is a highly rated midfielder who has impressed each of the club’s manager’s in the last six years. Ollie has made over 100 appearances in the blue and white quarters scoring eight goals and the battling told us he was delighted to have signed his new deal. “It’s brilliant to have re-signed with the club it's been a great few years here. Being a Bristol lad I know what it means to the club and fans being back in League One and I’m really looking forward to the challenges ahead this season." Clarke becomes the 11th player from the promotion winning squad to agree a new contract with the club, following teammates Steve Mildenhall, Daniel Leadbitter and Billy Bodin, James Clarke, Lee Mansell, Mark McChrystal, Ellis Harrison, Cristian Montano, Will Puddy and Jake Gosling. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...ith-the-club-3148405.aspx#wlua2dIjXjPrppBd.99
No need to apologise Capn. you were quite right. Do you think we will get Iceland in the next round? It looks probable if they don't lose against Austria.
I wont be surprised if we get Portugal in the last 16. If we get through then it will be France in the quarters. If we get through then it could be Germany in the semi's. If we get through then it could be Wales in the final. If we dont fail in the last 16, we wont get past France anyway.
From the OS... Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that Chris Lines has signed a new deal with the club. Having completed his studies at Filton College, Chris joined the first team squad for pre season training in the summer of 2005 and was signed as a non-contract player. Chris spent seven seasons at Rovers before League One Sheffield Wednesday came calling where he signed for The Owls for an undisclosed fee. He was at Hillsborough for two years and scored three goals in 47 league games for the Owls, and also spent time on loan with MK Dons between January and April 2013. July 2013 saw him move on to Port Vale and in almost two years at Vale Park he scored three goals in 61 league appearances before re-joining Rovers on loan in March 2015. After his loan period finished last summer, Chris agreed a new deal with Rovers and went on to make 36 appearances for Darrell Clarke’s promotion winning side last season. On signing his new deal with the club, Chris told us "I’m really happy to have finally sorted the new contract, we have a great bunch of lads and hopefully we can all stick together for another successful season. It’s been an amazing two seasons back at the club and I’m looking forward to playing back in League One where I've spent most of my career and I’m glad to see the club back where it belongs." Lines becomes the 12th player from the promotion winning squad to agree a new contract with the club, following teammates Steve Mildenhall, Daniel Leadbitter and Billy Bodin, James Clarke, Lee Mansell, Mark McChrystal, Ellis Harrison, Cristian Montano, Will Puddy, Jake Gosling and Ollie Clarke. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...ith-the-club-3149968.aspx#T3pHoJzDA4URL4lX.99
Easter's on board. Triggered a clause in his contract. Matty's considering a decent offer from the club and may do a Vardy...
I haven't heard of any clubs making an offer for Taylor in this window so it makes you wonder what is going on.
Just read an article on Newsnow that said Rovers could start with three new signings against Scunthorpe, Hartley and Moore any one heard of any one else
He said at the end of the season, that if all the players signed the new contract offered to them. He would bring in an additional 4 or 5 players?
