Take that back, first minute and Hazard scores a ripper. Third time this pre season from the edge of the box on right side into the far top corner.

Iheanacho and Mahrez on. Something like this

    Kasper
    Simon Morgan Maguire Fuchs
    James Ndidi
    Mahrez Iheanacho Gray
    Vardy

    Like it

    1 min later 1-1!

No Drinkwater in the team or bench today.

Hope the injury to Iheanacho is not serious. Looking a little unfit but what a start for him and Vardy. Good to sign off pre season with a win.

    Auto correct for Simmo <laugh>

Average first half but really good second. Ndidi, Iborra and James all looked good and with Iheanacho linking play dare I say we could be ok in mid and forward positions barring departures. Still could do with one or two more at the back. Maguire was good.

Very Drinky like ball over for Vardy from James for the first. The second James won the ball in defence, Mahrez found Nacho who squared for Vardy in what on FIFA is described as a Jew goal

Thought we did well in the 2nd half tonight. Maguire looks very solid. (reminds me of Gerry Taggart)
Vardy looks up for it. Brilliant control for his first.
Bloody knew something like that would happen to Iheanacho!! hopefully not serious.

Iheanacho looks like hes ok playing in the Okazaki role, which may work well, though that was only based on less than 20 minutes of game time because Iheanacho got injured and subbed off :emoticon-0107-sweat

Don't know why Drinkwater wasn't in the squad, but dare i say we didn't miss him that much, even Iborra started on the bench, all the subs that came on also looked capable, looks like this could be the squad depth that we were looking for last year with the new players, James and Lawrence in the fold.

    Schmeichel made some good saves
Simpson was solid but limited as was Morgan
    Maguire was really good
Fuchs was ok, went forward well at times
James was very good, very Drinky esk
Ndidi got forward well and had some good chances
Albrighton was Albrighton, solid, some good crosses
Gray was a bit quiet but pressed well and put effort in
Vardy was as we love him best, a great first goal and some good chances
Okazaki was getting stuck in and linked play well

    Subs
Mahrez was quiet and didn't do much but was involved in the second goal getting the ball to Iheanacho who assured Vardy
Iheanacho looked very lively as as mentioned above played the Okazaki role. Assisted Vardy unselfishly in what could be a great partnership. Hope the injury doesn't keep him out
Iborra is obviously trusted by the team, Schmeichel played balls out to him in the centre rather than going long

Disappointments were the Iheanacho injury so soon after coming on and that Simpson and Morgan still seem painfully limited
Positives were gown iheanacho changed the game. Vardy is clearly well up for it. Maguire doesn't treat the ball at his feet like a grenade about to go off and with Iheanacho linking play, James spraying balls about, Iborra comfortable on the ball it looked like at full strength we may have creativity and a link between midfield and attack after all. Defence seems more important if we are to make signings
