Sorry guys, but as I half expected the players have a day off. There is nobody up at London Colney. They haven't even set up the goals yet.

It is possible that they will be back tomorrow, but im not certain. But I will be up there to investigate again.

Seeing his name there reminded me - I read this morning that Bond has changed his 'International allegiances' & has said goodbye to Wales, making himself available for England.

Wonder why? It would be a fair while before he is even considered for selection by England, I would have thought.

Stevenage pressing very quickly and so far Watford are not able to pass their way through mid-field.

2-0 to Watford, Deeney side steps Day and rolls it into the net after being set up by Acuna - bodes well for the season.

The first half I could have had a nap, but just watched the Tour. Barring a major accident Chris Froome will have won having finished 3rd today.

If you think it's been boring, I've been watching QPR v Udinese - far worse. 30 minutes gone and not even a shot at either goal. Vydra playing for Udinese.

I agree with the WO report and thought Angella was excellent. Overall pretty pleased with what I saw. A fair few looked a bit rusty, but that's to be expected. We played the ball around well and I'm encouraged.

Did the shirt numbers mean anything? Noticed that Cassetti was no. 5.

Also good to see some familiar faces again.

Im not sure, the players have signed autographs with numbers and most match those worn today, Cassetti is the only one whose doesnt match.
