Made me think of that game against Derby in 1983 (kind of intimidating !) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FW0mNuQPokQ
Kingtonians 0 Fulhan Xl 2 A fairly strong Fulhham Xl started the game tonight (Stockdale, Baird, Briggs, Frei, Duff) then mixed about second half. Good news was that Grygera came on. The scorers were Altman and Duff.
Here are the team details v Kingstonians - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/FFCXIvKingstonian.aspx Interesting that Kit was in charge (although the article does say it 'Jol's team' v Wycombe in the weekend game). Do you think the starting line up was 4-1-4-1 with Chris Baird in front of the back four?
Here's the Offial report of the game against Wycombe - http://www.fulhamfc.com/MatchAndTeam/MatchCentre/Matches/1213/PreSeason/WycombeAway.aspx And Jol's opinion - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/JolWycombeReaction.aspx I did say Mesca is his favourite and I think well seee more of him on that right wing, sooner rather than later. As Fulhaman says it's not neen a bad pre-season so far. Compared with last year's rather frenetic. wish we weren't here attidude of (some) players, it's been calmness, team bonding and generally 'feel good'. Hopefully that augurs well for the new season.
Our heroes head out for another training camp, this time in Switzerland, before next Saturday's friendly against Nice - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/JettingOff.aspx
Missing from the squad that flew off today are Dempsey and Senderos for sure. I don't thing Etuhu went either - he was at Motspur Park training this morning. Best not to speculate - for now !!
Pressure, what pressure? Bryan is raring to go - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/EagerToImpress.aspx
And here's a video clip of Bryan's free kick against Wycombe at the weekend - http://yfrog.com/n6hixircmidyyaoakpmjopjdz
Farnborough 0 Fulham 3 Another Fulham Xl win - scorers Donegan, Dalla Valle and Minkwitz. By all accounts Captain Minki was the star of the show.
Here are some extra details from the Club, well the teamsheet anyway. [They have been pretty good recently in providing information so maybe there will be more later] http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/Farnborough0-3FFCU21s.aspx

Here's video highlights of the game - http://www.youtube.com/TheBoroTV Noted with wry interest the provider - "TheBoroTV" - why the heck can't Fulham do this for Academy games???
Staines 3 Fulhan Xl 4 Hugo turned out tonight (for the first half) as a Fulham Xl came from behind to win 4-3. He didn't score however; Tom Donegan got a hat-trick and Minkwitz the other. Stars for us were Minki (again), the 3 goal man Donegan and Dan Burn (he's beginning to look really good). Here's note of the team from the Club site - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/August/StainesvFFC.aspx
